We’re thrilled to announce that TIER IV will be part of CES 2025, the global tech showcase in Las Vegas, from January 7-10. We’ll be presenting our latest advancements in autonomous driving technology, building on open-source innovation and impactful collaborations.

This year, our journey has been highlighted by major milestones, including the Level 4 certification of our AI Pilot system for an autonomous bus service in Shiojiri, Nagano Prefecture, and the launch of Co-MLOps, a new data-sharing platform designed to scale the development of autonomous driving AI. These achievements underscore our commitment to advancing autonomous driving technology and setting new standards in the industry. As we wrap up an exciting year of progress, we look forward to showing you what’s next.

At CES, we’ll be showcasing interactive demonstrations, giving visitors an opportunity to experience our innovative platforms based on Autoware – the world’s first open-source software for autonomous driving – and explore the expanding ecosystem within the Autoware Foundation (AWF).

• AI Pilot: Live sensing of the CES venue using sensors mounted on a mini autonomous shuttle.
• Open AD Kit: Planning and perception on a SOAFEE reference implementation of a cloud-native Autoware stack, running on ruggedized ECUs for vehicle integration.
• AWSIM: A virtual autonomous shuttle navigating Tokyo streets, with real-time monitoring for observability of the autonomous driving system.
• Co-MLOps platform: Hands-on demo of data search, data visualization and active-learning features.
• Co-MLOps reference AI: Live perception using sensors from our data recording system, installed on a data collection vehicle.
