The impact of AI on real-world systems was in sharp focus at CES 2026, January 6-9. Across humanoid robotics, autonomous driving and smart mobility, physical AI – systems that can perceive, reason about and act within the physical environment – emerged as a central theme. TIER IV marked its sixth appearance at CES, showcasing end-to-end (E2E) AI for a Level 4+ autonomy initiative launched in 2025, alongside innovations in Autoware, open-source software for autonomous driving. We were also joined by members of the Autoware ecosystem, highlighting the role of open-source collaboration in advancing autonomous mobility.

If you couldn’t make it to Las Vegas, our booth tour video offers a glimpse of everything we featured at the event.

A community highlight was the Autoware Foundation and SOAFEE happy hour, supported by sponsors AMD, Arm, NomadicML, Deepen, eSync Alliance and Red Hat. Over a hundred industry peers gathered at the TIER IV booth for an evening of networking and celebration of the Autoware ecosystem.
