Against a background of profound changes in the global automobile industry and autonomous driving technology becoming the focus of future competition, TIER IV jointly launched the Autoware Autonomous Driving Engineer Course in China with CATARC (China Automotive Technology and Research Center) and PIX Moving, a Chinese EV chassis maker. This course, based on the open-source software Autoware, aims to integrate knowledge related to autonomous driving through open collaborative innovation methods, and to provide autonomous driving training platforms to engineers, entrepreneurs and students.
Students will be able to attend classes through the online platform provided by CATARC. At the same time, students will also have the opportunity to participate in offline hands-on training. Through the practical operation of real vehicles on real roads, they can deepen their understanding of algorithms and achieve a comprehensive understanding of the technology from software to hardware, from algorithms to testing.
