TOKYO, Jun 16, 2023 – TIER IV has signed a strategic cooperation agreement (MoU) with iCEasy, a leading comprehensive trading platform for components in China, to offer automotive-grade HDR cameras that comply with automotive standards for autonomous driving (AD) applications in the Chinese market.
TIER IV's C1 camera is widely adopted for use with various applications, including AD, driver assistance, autonomous mobile robots, security, and surveillance, due to its 120dB high dynamic range (HDR) and high connectivity as an automotive-grade hardware. It has already been implemented by over 100 companies worldwide.
Autoware*, an open-source software (OSS) developed mainly by TIER IV, provides various functions required for the development of AD systems, and has been adopted by many companies, educational institutions, and research organizations. On the other hand, iCEasy Mall, the trading platform of iCEasy, is a leading comprehensive trading platform for components in China. Through this cooperation, TIER IV will be able to provide its automotive-grade cameras to many customers in China.
