At TIER IV, we organize regular tech talks to inspire innovation through knowledge sharing and community building. In our 8th session, three TIER IV engineers from key AI areas will share how each AI field, ranging from end-to-end AI to MLOps, and beyond, will impact the evolution of autonomous driving, as well as the kind of talent needed to drive the next stage of innovation.

After an initial document screening, we typically conduct 2-3 interviews. Additionally, for engineering positions, we may ask candidates to complete assignments.
The timeline from application to job offer typically takes around 4 weeks. Please note that this timeline may vary based on the position, but we can try to accommodate the candidate's availability.

Full-time employees are usually expected to start on the first day of the month they join the company.
On your first day, about 1.5 hours will be spent on initial PC setup, system account registration, and other necessary tasks, followed by various training sessions.
Yes, it's a possibility. In-office hours will depend on your job role, details of which will be explained during the interview.

We offer a voluntary defined contribution plan, allowing employees to contribute a portion of their salary if they choose to. The company does not make contributions to this plan.
Not at the moment.
We offer a childcare leave program that complies with legal requirements and regulations. Paternity leave and shorter working hours for childcare are encouraged. Many of our employees are parents who successfully juggle work and childcare responsibilities.
Our company culture promotes flexibility, allowing employees to easily adapt their remote and in-office work schedules to accommodate family commitments. Excluding certain roles, we offer flexible work schedules without fixed core hours, giving employees the flexibility to determine their own start and finish times.
We will reimburse either the cost of a monthly commuter pass or the actual commuting expenses, whichever is lower. The maximum monthly allowance is 30,000 yen.
We help overseas candidates with the Certificate of Eligibility application process, if required.
After approval, the process from visa application to visa issuance, arrival in Japan, and obtaining a residence card may take up to 3 months.
We do not permit it.
It depends on the team. As the number of international employees is increasing, we’re producing more of our documentation in English and Japanese. Both languages are commonly used in day-to-day communications.
About 10 percent of our employees are non-Japanese (as of April 2025).
